For someone who spends a lot of time reading reviews online, I never actually know if I should believe them or not. We have somehow moved from a space of an online review being a good gauge of quality, to not knowing if it was a robot who wrote it (I still don’t fully understand this one) or just someone complaining for the sake of complaining. The art of referrals from trusted sources still seems to be the primary method of getting a quality opinion, but with so many goods and services floating around the economy, it is impossible to always know someone who has tried what you’re looking at. So here I have decided to offer you my tried and true thoughts on various items, services, and experiences. Take it for what you will, but I promise this is a robot free, no alternative motives, reviews of things I love and things I don’t.
To start: eyedrops. Stay with me here for a second, I’m not a weirdo. A few years ago I started using eye drops because I realized that my eyes were ALWAYS watering. My original thought was I was over lubricated naturally but after doing some googling, I learned I actually had dry eyes which was making them water excessively trying to self correct. The result was horrible mascara job by 1pm and a constant burning sensation. Fast forward, I found Lumify eye drops. They have changed my life. They immediately provide relief to my itchy eyes while removing any and all red spots. Whether I have looked at the work screen for too many hours that week, didn’t sleep well, have allergies, had an eyelash stab me traitorously, who cares. I have tried plenty of other brands to save a buck, but this is one item I willingly spend more money on knowing that I will have that twinkle front and center for the entire day!
